Hi everyone!
I’m Aayushi Kabra, and I consider myself a classic example of the saying “jack of all trades, master of some.”
Starting my journey from the field of science, to jumping ships from commerce to arts, and eventually becoming an event planner in the process, I believe I’ve experienced quite a few dynamic turns right at the beginning of my adulthood.
The dynamicity of my journey so far has been a motivating force for me to strive for better at each turn. Being an Event Planner and optimizing the entire event process, end to end, has its own share of long hours and tiresome work, but at the end, it is the creative product that comes out of it, which makes the entire process and the work put into it, worth it (in my opinion).
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always dreamt of doing something non-conventional. Be it the dream of becoming a Radio Jockey, or hosting TV Shows, I’ve always admired jobs that didn’t chain me to a desk for 10 hours a day.
It is this love for non-conventional jobs, that had motivated me to pursue my undergraduate degree from Christ University, Bangalore, with a triple majors degree, majoring in Communication and Media, English and Psychology.
And the same love- to not be bounded by fixed working hours- and the love I have for dynamic roles, motivated me to try my hand at event planning. And of course, belonging to a typical middle-class family, the concept of weddings and wedding planning was/is a fascination for me, which drove me to indulge myself in the multi-billion-dollar industry.
With an experience of organizing over 50 weddings pan-India, I take pride in the fact that I have taken the pros and cons of every field that I have involved myself in, to my increase my learning and hone my skills. And with this interesting start in my career, I look forward to what the future holds for me!
